ElitePad® Child 'n Back Seat Monitor

The New Child’Minder ElitePad® is a smart active CRS seat cushion that passively monitors your child's presence.  Upon your child's placement or removal from their safety seat, caregivers receive live location, departure and arrival alerts.

Using Bluetooth® technology, the ElitePad® may be paired with the (Optional) Automotive Cabin Environment Monitoring System or with the (Free) SaferChild application to prevent unintended parent-child separations.

When paired with the SaferCHILD Free application, caregivers can receive 6 types of safety alerts:

  • Departure—when the chest clip is activated
  • Arrived—when the chest clip deactivated while the car is stationary
  • Unsafe Temperature—vehicle interior temperature too hot or too cold
  • Child moves from the CRS—while the car is in motion
  • Child Unattended— caregiver has moved away from a buckled chest clip
  • Valet—child caregivers switch monitoring child duties


Alternatively, for dual and more robust protection, the Child'Minder chest clip may be paired with the optional ACE System. Caregivers can receive 12 messaging and 10 in cabin audio safety alerts:

  • Departure
  • Parked, Stopped  Car
  • Unattended

  • Unsafe Temp
  • CO Danger
  • CO 2 Danger
  • IAQ Unhealthy
